keversite circuitdag
This weekend I went to the keversite circuitdag in the netherlands. Great to get to now your car on the circuit. So owkay I wasn't the fastest car over there, I didn't drive that bad and I had a great time. Going there next year too.

summer's here
It's been a while but I'm back. Exams are a thing from the past. Three months to make dreams come true. The conversion of my car is complete, it's a stick-shift right now. Really like it. In about two weeks I'm gonna go racing with liz. http://circuitdag.keversite.nl The garage.... I finished the floor on my attick.
Now the sad part, lizzy didn't pass her control. I had to convert her to oldtimer to keep her on the road. Right now there are plans for a new car as daily driver. Keep in touch at www.thebadbitch.blogspot.com. Thats it for now, more updates soon, a lot sonner then before.

did a lot of stuff
I didn't have to go to school for a week so I got some work done, not to much though because I'm waiting for two very little gearboxparts, A backing up switch and a clutchlever returnspring.
If I got those I got the gearbox mounted in no time. The wiring is adjusted, there we're a lot of wires unneccesary now that the semi auto is gone. The gearlever prooved to be a tricky on to, not an easy instalment. The engine is an other questionmark, they told me it should run but offcourse you never know. I'm about to change everything changeble in the ignitionsystem and offcourse the oil. I've allready cleaned the airfilter. To adjust the engine I've got a new toy to, A multimeter disigned for cars, it's ancient but so is my car :). While cleaning out the electrical system I also got rid off all of the sound deadeningmaterial.Like that I can enjoy my engine sound a bit more. Maybe I'll paint the enginebay in checkered flag next season, I' don't feel like painting right now. I also found a rather large piece of rot next to the drivers door sil. Something to look at once I buy my welder this summer. Sure hope they guys from the carcontrol don't find it.

sandblasting-gun
received my package from http://www.rustbuster.nl . I ordered a hobby-sandblastingtool and a can of inoxspray. The inoxspray is used between plates before welding. Because of the inox and other metals it stays active in the heat of welding. This makes sure there will be no rust between to plates after welding.
the sandblasting gun , hope it works as I hope it will, should be a valuable tool. Cleaning a part, repairing it and then painting it . Would it be possible to do a whole case like this, When you do it yourself you can make sure there's not to much heat you know.
It comes with different pieces to put on so you can seal it around plates , inside and outside corners. The grit is then recovered in the nose piece and guided to the sac.

engine and semi-gearbox removed
Here she is, ass up, wheels gone, a lot of emptyness in the back.
all gone, it took a while though. Everthing was full of mud, rusted and so on. The semi auto is'nt all the same ass the manuel box neither
The semi auto box
The torque convertor, that's why there are oil lines going in to the gearbox. An extra pump pumps oil through the torque convertor to make it work and cool. as you can see the teeth for the starter are also on the torque convertor. This is because the engine doesn't have a flywheel, it has a driveplate.
So, the engine has a dual oilpump... It also has a big vacuumport below the carb and offcourse it doesn't have a flywheel. Than there are the lower mounting studs on normal engines, this one was attached with bolts so I'll have to screw in some studs. But for now this engine isn't going in. I think I'm gonna mount the 1200 I have over here.Take the heads off this one to check them and maybe rework them. We will see wath time and money brings, always the money.

working in the garage
This is my dad stable, the first part used to be our home, now it's lizzy's home. Ok, cosmetically there are some things to be done, on al other earia's.
This is where I enter, not the widest of entry's. I've got to fix that to. A gate is coming son too. We've got one with remote control lying around.
